Carosa, Stanton & DePaolo Asset Management, LLC.
The Investment industry invokes standards seemingly designed more
for marketing products than for pragmatically achieving lifestyle
goals through successful investment management. Carosa, Stanton &
DePaolo seeks to empower our clients to prosper by avoiding what we call
"the Seven Deadly Sins of Professional Money Managers".
To accomplish this, we employ an equity-oriented investment strategy
based on a mix of the very familiar philosophies of Ben Graham (fundamental value analysis)
and Philip Fisher (fundamental growth analysis).
Our organization is driven by the personal and professional experiences of our
founders. We are sensitive to the unique demands of individual investors, trustees
and fiduciaries. We provide a divers blend of experience... which combines
the understanding and sensitive manner of a traditional trust officer with the
business-like energy of a sophisticated investment adviser.
We believe the prudent individual investor and trustee must avoid taking
undue risk. A portfolio must be managed in a manner which reduces the likelihood
of a sustained loss of wealth. We invest only in short term notes and obligations,
exchange listed and over-the-counter securities and companies with a history
of strong financials. We avoid investment fads and do not invest in IPO's,
commodities, derivatives, futures, options or currencies.
Ironically, perhaps the greatest risk facing the individual investor and trustee arises
from being too conservative. This occurs as a result of the conflicts inherent in the
traditional investment goals as espoused by much of the mainstream literature.
Carosa, Stanton & DePaolo makes use of, and actively educates our clients, as to the
matter-of-fact investment goals of today. These goals compliment a long-term
investment objective by recognizing that preserving capital does not mean the same
as preserving wealth.
